Creating Domination Oil

African-American folk magick system that involves the use of various oils, herbs, and other materials to perform spells and rituals. Domination oil is believed to be used to gain control, power, or influence over a situation or a person.

Here’s a simple recipe for making Domination Oil:

Carrier Oil: Start with a base carrier oil, such as almond oil, jojoba oil, or grapeseed oil. This will serve as the main component that carries the essence of the other ingredients.

Master Root: Master Root is a significant ingredient in Domination Oil, believed to enhance the power of control and mastery. You can find it at specialty herb shops or online.

Calamus Root: Calamus Root is used for its commanding properties and is known for its association with personal power and influence.

Licorice Root: Licorice Root is believed to help in bending the will of others to your desires, aiding in domination spells.

High John the Conqueror Root: High John the Conqueror Root is known for its strength and dominance properties, making it a valuable addition to this oil.

Angelica Root: Angelica Root is often used for protection and enhancing spiritual power, which can support the intentions of Domination Oil.

Essential Oils (optional): You may choose to add a few drops of essential oils known for their commanding properties, such as patchouli, bergamot, or cinnamon, to amplify the energy of the oil.

Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all the plant allies and roots needed for the Domination Oil. You can either use dried or fresh herbs, depending on availability.

Charge Your Ingredients: Before creating the oil, take a moment to set your intention and charge the herbs and roots with your energy. Focus on the purpose of the Domination Oil – gaining control, power, or influence.

Blend the Herbs: Use a mortar and pestle, combine the Master Root, Calamus Root, Licorice Root, High John the Conqueror Root, and Angelica Root. Crush or grind the roots slightly to release their essence. Place the blend inside a mason jar.

Add Carrier Oil: Pour your chosen carrier oil over the blended herbs until they are fully submerged. You can adjust the quantity of oil depending on how much Domination Oil you want to make.

Infusion: Place in a cool spot for about a week. Allow the herbs to infuse the oil with their properties, shaking the container gently every day. For a quicker results you can use the double boiler method and boil for about 15 minutes on a low flame (boil time depends on the amount used)

Strain and Bottle: After a week, strain the oil through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the solid plant material, capturing the infused oil in a clean glass bottle.

Optional: If you wish to add essential oils for a stronger scent and energy, add a few drops to the infused oil and shake well to blend.

Charge the Oil: Hold the bottle in your hands and focus on your intentions for the Domination Oil. Visualize it empowering you with the energy of control and influence.

Note: Some practitioners choose to create oils with the plants and roots remaining within the oil.  This method works as well as long as it’s a small batch to be used within a period of time that doesn’t allow for the oil to go rancid.

Now your Domination Oil is ready to use in your spells and rituals.

Calamus Root and its diverse applications in medicinal practices, metaphysical rituals, and magickal ceremonies make it a unique and revered botanical.
